Opening Act

In a dimly lit Austin hotel room, Christina breathes in the scent of her husband on the sheets and finds a note that changes everything.

The handwritten words from Michele — the radiant young starlet whose career Vincent manages — lead her to the connecting door between their rooms. What begins as shock deepens into something warmer, more dangerous: a jealous ache that pools low in her belly as she presses a glass to the wall and listens to her husband with he woman who loves him. But Christina doesn't confront. Instead, she books the room next door then.... gives him permission.

After the show, she sits in the shadows of room 1050, wine glass in hand, and listens through the connecting door as Vincent finally claims Michele. Until she is invited in to witness every tender kiss, every helpless moan, the way Michele's body arches and breaks apart under his mouth and hands, the raw intensity as he takes her completely. The jealousy burns hotter than she expected — and so does her own response.
